Shipping policy

Orders are fulfilled and shipped within 10-15 business days (M-F) and do not include any U.S. holidays and/or announced shop closures. Please note, worldwide shipping policy changes are outside of our control and we are working with multiple shipping partners in an effort to provide the best shipping experience.

Miss Willa's Bookshop Online is not responsible for any lost and/or damaged packages. Customers are responsible for filing claims with the shipping carrier and providing the required documentation. Once a claim is filed, the carrier is responsible for reimbursing you for any lost/or damaged items/packages, not Miss Willa's Bookshop Online. Once you have received reimbursement from the carrier, and IF replacement items are available, you can place another order. PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited inventory of merchandise, replacements may not always be available for repurchase and are not guaranteed.

Please note, we no longer offer the USPS First Class International Shipping option due to the lack of tracking and insurance against loss or damage. 

We cannot combine shipping. 

International customers: 

If your order is lost or damaged in transit, you can file a damage claim with the shipping carrier for reimbursement. Once a claim is filed, the carrier is responsible for reimbursing you for any lost/or damaged items/packages, not Miss Willa's Bookshop Online

International customers are responsible for all VAT, tariffs, taxes, Delivered At Place (DAP), Brokerage fees and/or any other fees associated with their country/region, and Miss Willa's Bookshop Online will not refund/return any fees associated/affiliated with those orders, including packages that have been refused by the customer (you) and abandoned by the carrier. Please refer to the most recent VAT rates for your specific country/region.

Third-Party Shippers: Miss Willa's Bookshop Online is not affiliated with any third-party shippers. Choosing to use a third-party shipper such as Stackry.com, it is at the customers' own risk. 

Please note that international shipments may not always have tracking numbers once the order has left the U.S., therefore international customers may need to file claims via their local carriers should a package be lost/damaged in transit. 

Due to the updated German Packaging Act (effective July 1, 2022) and it’s stringent and costly requirements (with no exceptions for small U.S. businesses), Miss Willa's Bookshop Online is no longer able to sell directly to Germany. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding!

If any orders are returned to us as non-deliverable (due to incorrect address, incorrect info, customer was not available for delivery, etc), we will offer to re-ship in stock items at the customer's expense.
